Paradise can be found at exactly 1225m above sea level.

Chalet Alfonz is located in Via Don Angelo Montrasio 22, just a few metres from Bormio Terme and close to the old town centre. The ski area can be easily reached on foot or by bus.

All the facilities and activities that will make your stay here unforgettable are close at hand, thanks to the convenient, panoramic location of Chalet Alfonz.

How to get to Chalet Alfonz by car

From Milan (or elsewhere in northern Italy) You can reach Bormio via Lecco, taking the SS36 to Colico, then the SS38 directly to Bormio.

If you are coming from southern Italy, in summer take the A22 motorway Modena-Bolzano, then the SS Bolzano-Merano, Merano-Spondigna via the Stelvio pass (open from mid-May to the end of October) and continue on to Bormio.

In winter take the A4 motorway Torino-Venezia towards Turin, exit at Brescia ovest for Lake Iseo, then take the SS 56 to Edolo. From there follow signs to Tirano and on to Bormio.

How to arrive at Chalet Alfonz by train

From Milan Central station take the regional train to Tirano. From there take a Perego bus to Bormio.

Our thanks to Palma, who really made us feel at home. Spotless, well-equipped apartment, close to the town centre in a quiet area, private parking, free WiFi and even a welcome cake for our arrival!

Fabulous!

A wonderful chalet, beautiful on the outside, but inside it gets even better. Everything is new, but is furnished like a typical Alpine chalet. An excellent price. The owner is very friendly and discreet, when we arrived, we were greeted with a typical blueberry pie on the table as a welcome treat. We were very happy with our stay here.

The apartment is an expression of the love and attention that Palma puts into her work. The kitchen has everything you could need, the beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are spacious and well furnished. The excellent service, cleanliness and location 5 minutes’ walk from the centre round off the wonderful weekend we have just spent there.
